Location
Rosh Ha'ayin · Netanya · Rehovot
Role
Architect
Open-Air Yemenite Museum

From the architect's notes

This architectural reconstruction is based on the 1930s historical description by the ethnographer Carl Rathjens. The design was first part of an Open-Air Yemenite Museum for Mr. Naftali at the Rosh Ha'ayin Municipality, then for Ovadia Ben Shalom in Netanya, for Hanania Koresh's museum in Rehovot, and now hopes to find its place at the Yemenite Valley in Ein Kerem.

Thanks to my wife's research and field-work on Yemenite material culture, the project moved between three towns and several patrons before being inaugurated in September 2017.
